4-Channel Mixer

Mixer: a device that "mixes" two or more voice or instrumental audio signals. Mixers can make various adjustments to the sound: volume, pan pot, equalization, gain, output, type of effect, etc. For example, if we have a musical base played by 5 different instruments, the mixer unites and mixes the five different signals into a single signal. By adjusting parameters on the Mixer we can change the overall result depending on our taste and creativity.

Equalizzazione: A system for attenuating or emphasizing a given audio frequency. There are three types of equalizers:
- non-parametric: specific frequencies are attenuated or emphasized.
- semi-parametric: the frequency of the intervention can be varied.
- parametric: both the intervention frequency and the bandwidth to be attenuated or emphasized can be varied.

4-Channel Mixer

D-VOICE is also a 4-channel digital mixer:

	• 2 MIC-LINE channels with balanced inputs (useable with either XLRs or Jacks). These two digital channels have an semi-parametric analogue 4-band equalizer.

	• 1 Stereo Channel with external input and Sensitivity and Volume adjustments. This channel can be used to connect an external sound source such as a keyboard.

• 1 Stereo Channel for the optional internal Sam Card.
