Okyweb is simple to use,
in a few minutes you will understand how it works, exploiting its full
potential. It's very small, no bigger
than a desktop calculator, and weighs less than a
kilogram. It is easy to carry around and requires no
special care. Okyweb was designed to use state-of-the-art technologies,
making it possible to do things that, up until now,
required the use of cumbersome, expensive equipment
used mainly by professionals.
Compact Flash:
a hard disk in your pocket!
Okyweb
is
possible because of Compact Flash storage technology that is
rewritable like a hard disk, removable and extremely
fast and reliable. It will give you room to store thousands of
MIDI Files thanks to the new super-compressed format that
M-Live invented: MF3.
Compact Flash is extremely reliable; it
resists shock and vibration, and provides a long, safe
life for the MIDI Files stored in it.
It can be inserted or removed even when Okyweb is on.
It is rewritable and erasable, just like a Hard
Disk or Diskette, but 100 times smaller, faster and
safer. Okyweb reads all types of Compact Flash, but we recommend
the memory produced by M-Live and described on the Accessories page.
MF3, MIDI
with overdrive!
MF3 is
a compressed MIDI File and it ends up 70% smaller
than the original file. A MIDI File becomes
3.5 times smaller when compressed in
the MF3 format. And compressing does not degrade the quality
of the original file.
Okyweb includes
Okysoft for Windows; it converts all standard,
older generation MIDI Files to the new
MF3 format.

Integration
Okyweb
is an
integrated instrument and has no need for additional equipment to work. It
has been designed to handle multimedia files:
MF3 MIDI Files. Okyweb includes
a General MIDI sound module that reproduces hundreds of
real and sampled sounds, a mixer to adjust the levels of the various
musical parts, an effects generator for more attractive sound output,
and an audio-video interface to send sound
and images to a TV.

connection

enters the Internet world through the parallel port. Thousands of
